Lady Athanasia,
I know well that you were jesting, I was as well. Perhaps such sentiments fail to be conveyed through the quill as well as through the voice. If I was to compare the two of you, I would be inclined to say that your brother has a more intimidating presence. I don’t believe that I could truly be afraid of either of you though. This ego is built on success, if you believe it has bloated my head, then perhaps you should try and take me down a few notches when we wrestle.
I know that you wish to see your friends, and I am inclined to think that you should be able to do so. Perhaps you should write your brother or your father and beg to be allowed to visit those friends. It is wrong that you should not be given the chance to see those you care about.
I will certainly not bite you, and I should hope that you won’t bite me either. If you wish to work on your footwork and your arm strength, then I would be most willing to assist you. Someday it could well save your life.
Your friend,
Alexandros
