There was a point in the proceedings where Silanos had switched off from active thought and engaged instinct. He was enjoying the taste of her, soft lips and the press of her body against his own as she arched up to meet the kiss. With his head already swimming from the wine and his pulse racing along courtesy of whatever he’d swallowed earlier on, it was a heady combination.
Vaguely, he was aware of her hands at his shoulders and her hair slipping like silk through his fingers, but thought did not reach much further than to recognise each sensation, add it to the flurry of others. His skin felt tight and tingly, hypersensitive, and the cooler air outside had done nothing to reduce what felt like an almost feverish heat.
Was it her or whatever it was he’d taken?
When Nana broke the kiss and put a hair’s breadth worth of space between them, Silanos could only smile, trace his thumb lazily along her plush lower lip. “I don’t know. What were you expecting?” he answered absently, curiosity raising its head a moment, though he was more interested in continuing what they had started. And when she seemed agreeable too, then he was all to happy to forgo chitter-chatter and return to getting her know her in a more personal sense.
His hands crept lower from their comparably chaste station in her hair, finding the skin that the sunshine silk left bare and skirting the edges of the fabric where it clung to her enviably, seeing what she would allow, how bold she really was. Silanos didn’t know enough about her to be able to gauge where she might stop this ‘getting to know one another’ so he was happy to let her be the guide. It was not her first kiss, that much was obvious.
He might have been happy to go on like that, trading kisses and exploratory touches but a loud outbreak of laughter from somewhere beyond was enough to dispel the notion that they were entirely alone, and he pulled back just to ensure their privacy was still..well private. Just revellers spilling out on to the terrace beyond, their own little sanctum remained intact, but Sil was beginning to feel a little..off, so he took the chance to breath a little, standing back and folding his hands behind him and leaning his back against the cool stone of the next pillar along. It was a sloppy, indolent stance that put him at more of a height to his new favourite Taengean.
She gotten him all hot and bothered, and he felt dizzied with it, blinking slowly to try and ground himself again. Silanos’ skin was clammy, his eyes all pupil, even moreso than the low light demanded. Letting his head fall back against the stone too, he took in a deep breath, letting his eyes fall half shut, looking at Nana lazily.
“Wine must be strong” he observed, wondering if it was just that, or the girl or if he’d been over-generous in how much he’d taken of that little vial before. Patting himself down, he pulled out the little glass bottle and squinted at it a moment before throwing it aside. He maybe wouldn’t buy it again.
“You want to get out of here? Dance some more? Do more of this?” A little smirk as he gestured between them. “What do you want out of your evening, Lady Nana?”

Nana would be an absolute fool to say she hadn't expected her temporary love's hands to roam, and yet, when they did, she was somehow surprised. If not for the wine, and Silanos' looks, she would most certainly be unagreeable with the circumstances, but the Colchian found himself quite lucky. Never before had she allowed herself to be put in quite a precarious position, but tonight, her drunken state wholly wiped away her inhibitions.
Bringing one arm up to play with his hair, Nana rested the other on the man's arm as his hands continued their wandering. Truly, she was being quite bold tonight.
Yet, not bold enough to continue with her playing when she heard the unmistakable laughter of others nearby. It seemed that Silanos had the same idea, as she quickly found him pulling away from her to take a breather as she turned and peeked out from behind their nook to see partygoers out on the terrace. Nothing out of the ordinary, but even here, a certain level of discretion was required, and the two of them were caught, there would likely be consequences. Consequences that Nana had no intention of living up to.
Turning back to Silanos, Nana quirked her eyebrow at his glassy-eyed stare, almost challenging him with her gaze. But, it seemed the man was a bit too intoxicated to play at her games any more, judging from his body language and his comments about the wine.
Letting out a little giggle at his statements, Nana smoothed her skirts and ran her fingers through her hair to try and regain any composure lost in the heat of the previous moment, eyebrows rising as she saw him pull out a small bottle of something and chuck it across the floor. Not having those proclivities herself, she couldn't say just what it was, but she had a good idea as to the effects, seeing how inebriated her companion seemed to be. No matter.
Thinking a moment before responding to the man's questions, Nana bit her lip, before quickly spurting out, "Well, now that you mention it, it might be nice to do another dance," though she almost immediately burst into laughter at the look of desperation that instantaneously appeared on the Colchian's face. Reaching a hand out to rest on the man's shoulder, she quickly reassured, "Just kidding, I'm kidding."
"It is getting quite crowded, though...I think that getting out of here is quite a good idea..."
Luckily enough, Nana had been to this particular house on a number of occasions for parties in the past, and throughout the years, she had found quite a few ways to exit. And seeing as she did not want anyone seeing her with Silanos and deciding to tell her parents, they would have to sneak out the side.
"Come," she said softly before taking the Colchian's hand and starting to walk along the terrace, eyes peeled for the right door. "We can sneak out through the kitchen. With a party this size, the servants are all busy in the main hall."

His face had obviously made no secret of how he felt about more dancing, so Sil gave a shrug and a sheepish smile when he was caught out. Truthfully, he wasn’t sure he’d make it through another dance - whether it was the fresh air making the wine go to his head in a rush, or something else but he was feeling hot and a little dizzy.
Relief then, that his companion seemed of a mind to continue their fun elsewhere, he nodded slowly.
“Thank fuck. I thought you’d never ask. I have rooms in the city...if you wanted to pick up where we left off?” He twisted a stray lock of blonde hair around his finger a moment before tucking it behind her ear and leaning in, a little clumsy and too close. “We can exchange some more culture. I’m a good teacher.”
Forward, but then Sil had never been anything but, and it seemed easy to throw caution to the wind here where wine was poured freely and such a tempting treat as the girl before him seemed as keen as he. Any notion of propriety or the like had disappeared about two drinks ago, and it wasn’t like the Leventi girl herself seemed concerned about much.
With an easy grin, he allowed her to take his hand and lead him out of the party. They received a couple of curious glances as they snuck through the kitchens, and for a moment Silanos wondered if he shouldn’t go and let the bard know he was leaving. He dismissed the notion after a second though, the other knew what his intentions had been and would surely only congratulate him on his success whenever they next crossed paths.
Outside, he squinted a moment and tried to get his bearings before beginning to lead Lady Nana away from the house that had played host to them, and back towards the lodgings he had taken in the city. They weren't much, but they did offer some modicum of privacy, which was surely what they wanted? And whilst anticipation might have called for a faster pace than the slow amble he adopted, he hoped maybe the walk and the cooler air would quiet his heart which was pounding away faster than it needed, or at least clear the foggy feeling from his head. It was a night he didn’t think he’d want to forget, after all.
