The Aqua Virgo stretches across the landscape with an elegance that belies its immense scale and inherent practicality. Unlike many of the other aqueducts serving the city, this one is in impeccable condition, its graceful arches soaring high above the ground and casting long shadows across nature. It is crafted from finely cut white stone, unmarred by cracks or creeping ivy. The aqueduct carries cool water to Sectors VII, VIII and IX, its channels flowing tirelessly to nourish the city. Where the aqueduct dips into the city, its waters spill into ornate basins surrounded by sculptured artwork, creating a beautiful fountain that feeds the lattice of waterways that runs throughout and provides for the people.
