The hothouse is a bathhouse dedicated to the cleansing rituals of heat. Crafted from sun-baked clay bricks, it rises in tiered ziggurats, each level adorned with intricately carved reliefs of mythical creatures. The entrance is flanked by a pair of imposing statues depicting lion-headed men, leading patrons into a labyrinth of interconnected chambers, each growing progressively warmer. Within these rooms, the air is thick with aromatic steam emanating from braziers filled with exotic herbs. Here, patrons will sweat and scrape themselves clean with strigils, allowing their bodies to be purified by the intense heat. The central hall, however, boasts a vast pool of cool water that provides a serene oasis for respite. Above, domed skylights allow beams of sunlight to penetrate the space, and the walls are painted in vibrant hues.
