Beneath the hill on which Hattusa sits is a network of natural springs. They rise amidst the streets to fill wells, temple water supplies and drinking fountains all around the city. Seven major springs around the city are treated with greater respect than the others including three within public spaces: the North Spring, in which the lower city wash clothes and bathe. The Eastern Spring, which falls like a waterfall into a central courtyard for drinking. And the Spring of Rain - a well-like pond that only fills during the Season of Rain (spring) when the northern star rises in the sky. The other four springs can be found in front of the Temple of Teshub, in the centre of the Temple of Ishtar, in front of the Royal Acropolis and in the private residence of the Tabarna. All posts located in the public springs should be posted here. Please post anything related to the temple or palace springs in the boards linked above.
