The Tabarna Sarai is the monarch’s private retreat within the royal palace. This secluded manor includes the king's own suite, flanked by rooms for personal aides and private counsel. Nearby, a modest suite houses lower servants, while a luxurious bathing room and a sunlit solar room provide spaces for dining and intimate gatherings. Opening from the manor is a vast courtyard, where lush greenery surrounds a pristine spring — one of Hattusa’s famed seven springs. Here, amidst tranquillity and natural beauty, the monarch finds both solace and sovereignty within his private domain.
