The Imperia Parliamentum is the fortress that holds Roma's most exclusive political discussions. It is an imposing structure that exudes an aura of impenetrable authority to all who pass by: even those unfamiliar with the city would know its value on instinct. Guarded by elite soldiers in ceremonial armour, the building is inaccessibly to all but the imperia and their most trusted servants. Its exterior is an austere expanse of polished marble, punctuated by towering pilasters and crowned with intricate reliefs of the city's divine protectors. Massive bronze doors, engraved with scenes of past victories, are opened only for those with the highest rank, their weight serving as a stark reminder of the gravity of decisions made within. For those allowed access, they will find a vast yet hushed hall lit by a central and evenly spaced torches. Rows of marble benches surround a central dais, where the imperia gather in secrecy to discuss the political matters that shape the future. This is where fate is made.
