Daniil respects her grand mother and she admires her. As a young child she was taught that respecting one's elders was expected, but it was also vital because of what could be learned from their experiences. Ivra gave Daniil an idea what it would be like to be a strong woman that was also comfortable in her skin and position, an idol of sorts. As she grew, Daniil continued idolizing her grandmother and she spent a good deal of time with her listening to stories and learning from her. To this day she still idolizes her and she annually does love her in her own way.
I would like to see this relationship not change.

Daniil is the adoring grand daughter. She loves and respects him and has for all of her life. When he tells stories, she is right there at his feet to hear them, her favorites being tales of her ancestors and the history of the house.

Justinia died the same year that Daniil was born so she has no memories of her really, though as she has grown up she has heard stories of her and she is yet another Elder that Daniil admires and respects.
Pavlos of Marikas --> Word: Strength
When she was younger Daniil saw her father as perfect. She never questioned why he was gone as much as he was because the one time she did ask, it was explained that he was doing what daddy's do, securing the wealth and power of the family. To her he was almost god-like with the fact that he could walk into a room and everyone paid him attention. He never once had to raise his voice to her. He had the ability to convey his point in a look and she would acquiesces. As she grew older she slowly came to realize that her father was not the god-like man she painted him to be, though he can still command the room when he walks into it. He expects obedience from his children and it is given. At the age of ten her time learning the sword and the horse was seen as a way to convince him that if she could be like a boy then maybe he would spend more time at home with his family. In her teens though the idolize version of her father that she carried around shattered. She started hearing people bad mouthing him and the family and that began to cast doubt and there was further doubt as she came to realize that the relationship between her parents was not what she thought it was. Confusion set in and eventually sadness and anger followed because she felt lied to and betrayed by him, but she never stopped loving or respecting him despite that. She continued her training with sword and horse and came to a very startling revelation one day. Her father was not born with the ability to command attention. He woke at it and realizing that he went through the same trials she had in her training, made her feel closer to him, even though he still kept his distance. Daniil loves and respects her father throughout her life.
I think that I would like some day to see Daniil be able to actually thank her father for the lessons he taught her and she will always love and respect him.
Sera of Marikas --> Word: Guide
When she was much younger Sera would laugh at Daniil's antics, especially when she would dress up and parade around declaring that she was a Princes and she showed what she thought a princess was like. She is close to her mother and learned much from her. Sera would encourage her with her schoolwork and her love of spending her energy running around out of doors. She never raised her voice at her youngest, if fact Daniil has no memory of her mother ever yelling period. Like her father, Sera had a way of conveying what she meant by looks. As Daniil grew she was the recipient of more and more of those looks because she was not being Lady-like and that was something that her mother frowned open. About the time she hit her late teens, Sera sat Daniil down and told her that she had to cease with trying to imitate her father and to start focusing on learning and using herself and he place as a way to benefit her family, though she actually left it to Daniil to figure out how to achieve that.
She loves and respects her mother and she wishes that her father could have been a Prince Charming and wishes that she could find her own Prince Charming, though her parents relationship shows her an idea of what she actually does not want.
Agathe of Marikas --> Word: Oil
Daniil as a very young child would try to play with her elder sister, but she would be met with resistance that left her feeling very hurt and confused. This would occur until the day the pair had a knock down drag out after Agathe announced that the lack of time with their father was all Daniil's fault. Daniil was hurt and angry because she was still just working to find her place and roll in the family. As she grew into her teens she realized that her Elder sister resented her and blamed her for the fact that Pavlos was no longer as close to her as he was. Daniil would try to explain that it was not her fault. She herself did not ask to be born a girl, it was fate that dictated what she came into the world as. She is not sure if her words ever reached her sister, but she also did not have time to worry about it. What she would likely never admit to is the fact that she respects her elder sister for the fact that she knows how to use the tools the Gods gave her as a tool to benefit the family and would continue to do so. She is secretly trying to emulate her sister, if you count the number of crushes she has currently.
What I would like to see in the future: Maybe Agathe helps her on the guy front and the girls come to a truce of sorts.
Elena of Marikas --> Word: Calm
Daniil is much closer to Elena then to Agathe. They are closer in age too and grew up constant playmates and companions. They would often be caught dressing up in Sera's clothing and playing Princes. They are still close and near constant companions.
I would like to see this relationship not change

Daniil grew up watching her uncles antics and as as small girl she did not see what all the fuss was about. He was her uncle and well he was due the same love and respect that her father would recieve. She would try to play with him, just like she would her father and when he would not play with her, she would be confused and hurt just like she was with her father. As she grew she became aware that things wee not all silk between her Uncle and Father and she would wonder about all the women in his life and if that was normal behavior when she would see them with him. As a team he would be constantly on her about behaving like a lady. Between him and her mother she slowly started to swing that way and she was careful to dress up like a lady whenever she was around him. She also enjoyed seeing that he prized horses were cared for whenever he was away. She also tends to be the one that keeps him in the know on house antics when he is gone, She also sees him as father figure and so she will give him the same respect that she gives her father and yes she loves Rafi in her own way, though she is not happy he is marrying her bestie.
