I know what you are all thinking. March Madness. For us Americans, it means basketball. For us on Aeipathy? It's about to mean something entirely different. For the month of March, all of our member challenges will be character/profile related, and the main event is no exception. Your mission? Character profile updates. A lot of them. For many of us on Aeipathy, despite the freedom to do so, we have not updated our characters since they were originally created. This has left gaps in our profiles and our character’s stories. Years of character development has been bypassed, and sometimes that leaves much to be desired when we find ourselves attempting to plot with newer members.
If you’re a newer member, do not fret. There are ways for you to participate, even if your profile is shiny and new!
So what will these updates look like? You will find a massive list below to help guide your character profile updates as you go, and the reward for completing each section. You may pick and choose which sections to update but will only get the rewards for each section that you complete. The sections are spaced out by week, and yes, once a week has passed, you cannot go back and earn those points.
Week 1 -- March 1st to March 8th Character Introduction -- Between 250 and 300 words MAX -- 1 Member Point
Meet the Writer -- Author name included, Plots of Interest, Myers Briggs, Hogwarts House, Divergent Faction, At least 200 Word Introduction -- 1 Point
The Writer, Side -- Completely filled out, all characters listed, activity, maturity, violence rating, and triggers visible -- 1 Point
Week 2 -- March 9th to March 16th Physical Appearance -- At Least 350 Words -- 1 Member Point
Physical Appearance Quick Facts -- Each Section Fully Filled Out (Height, Build, Key Features, Physical Strengths, Physical Weaknesses, Fighting Style, Preferred Weapon, Personal Possessions, Face Claim) -- 1 Member Point
Mental Attributes -- At least 3 Strengths/Weaknesses, At least 1 Secrets/Fears, Fully Fleshed out Ambitions/Motivations/Rumors/Reputation -- 1 Member Point
Week 3 -- March 17th to March 24th Personal History -- Ensure your history covers the in-character events that your character has been witness to. -- 3 Member Points
Character Awards -- Go through your account and claim as many character awards as you possibly can, following the claiming guidelines. -- 1 Point
Week 4 -- March 25th to March 31st Plotter Sections -- At least 300 words each in Familial, Courtship, Friendship, Conflict, IC Relationships Listed -- 3 Member Points
Open Threads -- All threads caught up to the Month of February OR All threads caught up to the month of March -- 1 Member Point OR 3 Member Points
Bonus Points! Bye, Bye 2020 -- Close out some threads from 2020! (Per Character, No AU) -- 1 Member Point
Milestones: Posts -- Reach a posting milestone with your character! 30, 50, 75, 100, 150, or 200 Posts (Per Character, No AU) -- 1 Member Point
Posting Machine -- Post at least 10 times in the month of March with the same character (Per Character, No AU) -- 1 Member Point
