Report a Problem
We at Aeipathy encourage and open and honest form of communication. If you have a problem with the site, some coding, plotting, a member dispute or anything else you can think of that might be an issue for you and your experience of Aeipathy, our staff team want to know about it!
Broken Links and Coding Issues
If you find anything on the site that doesn't appear to work in the right way: a link that goes nowhere or doesn't load the right page, an image that won't render or pixelates or tiles across the screen, or basically just anything that doesn't seem to look right, please report the issue to our Staff Team account and they will correct the problem as soon as possible. Please remember to include links to appropriate pages and any screenshots that you think might be appropriate, as our staff team may use different browsers or cache systems than yourself.
Plotting Issues
If you are struggling to make a plot work, have a plot with a character that has just been dropped or are trying to work through some kinks that don't quite gel with our main global plots, we recommend speaking directly to our Head Admin JD. As our Head Admin, JD controls all of our main/global plots working in requirements and suggestions from the community and overseeing that they all flow together. If you're having issues making your own character flow within that setting, she needs to know about it, because you may not be the only one.
Member Disputes
If you are having an issue with another member or struggling to communicate productively with someone in our community, please immediately speak to our Staff Team.
Remember! Aeipathy's policy is to always give the Benefit of the Doubt. Our members come from a plethora of cultures, social norms and languages. We do not all think the same, react the same or feel the same in any one or multiple given situations. We believe that all of our members are nice and friendly people and not a single one, we believe, would deliberately cause strife or unhappiness. As such, we expect all of our members to approach any member dispute with an open mind and a generous interpretation of different perspectives.
Giving the Benefit of the Doubt in a situation does not mean you have to bury your head in the sand and ignore the issue entirely. This can cause any irritations or discontentedness to fester - which is the last thing we want. Our staff team want to know if there is an issue to be resolved. All we ask is that members who come to us with a dispute to be settled do so with an open mind and an open acceptance that blame is not to be placed. We're not here to point fingers or claim that someone else has done something deliberately. Feeling upset over a situation does not automatically mean you to be in the right. Our staff team are here to facilitate a healthy, friendly and optimistic conversation that will reach the bottom of the issue, solve it and ensure a long-standing and fun writing relationship between the members in question.
