Sirdar Onuphrious,
It has been a week since I have last seen you, Father. I know you may not approve of me using that word in the wake of what happened, but we both know that it is the truth. You were the one who watched me grow from a babe in the swaddle into the man that I am today. Never before had there been so much of a rumor that another man could have sired me. If this was really the case, why would it have taken twenty-four years for it to come to light? Surely, if there was any truth to this rumor, it would not have taken nearly a quarter of a century to come to light! You taught me to be logical and never rush to judgment. Why is this now being disregarded in the face of one baseless rumor? One simple claim that both you and I know to be false as I have always been your son. Please, I am begging you to find it in your heart to reconsider your position on this matter. You know, just as well as I that my father does not lie in the Valley of the Kings, but instead resides in Thebes, hopefully reading these words. Please, Sirdar Onuphrious, you know these rumors to be false and I beg of you to allow me to return home to my family. My only family as I have no other blood than the great H’Sheifa.
Your Trueborn Son,
Sutekh H’Sheifa
