Lady Olympia,
There is little time for me to put into words all that I would say to you. The last letter I received from Stephanos left me with little doubt as to the tension that recent events have left between us, so it is gladdening to hear from you. I have no wish for anything but health and prosperity for you both, and to see you all safely returned to Taengea.
Let me be clear, there have not been any charges levied against yourself. You are free to return whenever you wish. I know your family would gladly welcome you home. What I must caution is that there are those still hidden from me who played a role in everything that transpired before you left, and those that consider Stephanos guilty of the crimes he stands accused of. For your own safety, Pia, and that of your child, please be careful. My trust lies with Theodora, Xene,Gianna, Emilios and Lord Gavriil and there has not been time to assure myself of loyalty to Mikaelidas much beyond this.
As such, I would suggest you do not show face in court. Let things rest until I return, enjoy the comfort and protection of your family and then we may discuss how to proceed.
I pray that the Gods keep you safe until we can be reunited in person, and that they watch over Stephanos too.
Yours,
Achilleas
