Dear Lady Imeeya,
I am thankful to the Gods that your king was returned to you from Poseidon's seas. Clearly their divine graces thought your kingdom deserving of his rule and he of his position. I can only hope that, should the situation require such a thing, my own rule might be supported in just such a way - by both Gods and mortals. Your kingdom is clearly greatly relieved to have your king returned to them. I can only wonder if such a thing would be true of mine...
As for war with the Egyptians, I knew that such a thing was a potential but was unaware that it had become a reality. I pray for the success of Greece against the southern lands. Tell me, has there been any word of Athenia's action in this matter? I understand that Lord Elias of Stravos has declared himself regent in my absence and in my sister's youth. Has he made any formal declaration of Athenia's forces supporting their Grecian neighbours?
Whilst I cannot explain to you wholly why, I look to you for wisdom and guidance where I cannot find my own at this time.
May the Gods hold the Colchian forces safe within Their benevolence,
Persephone of Xanthos
