Born of an illegitimate tryst between his mother, a servant of Lysta of Antonis, and the great general Lacides of Antonis, Leonidas is technically a member of the noble family and holds royal blood in his veins. He has never, however, been accepted into the Antonis House, is not listed in its registry and is an open secret among the Court - into which he is forbidden to enter. He works, instead, as a member of the Athenian Guard and pursues an honest life, in order to support the mother who has been devoted to him since his birth.
